Neil Short joined Senior Patient Advocates (SPA) in 2017 as a licensed insurance consultant. In this role, he assists seniors, who are new to Medicare, enroll in the program and select Medicare Part D prescription plans. Neil is particularly knowledgeable about Medicare Parts A, B and D. He finds great satisfaction in being part of a team that helps seniors enroll in the best Medicare coverage at the lowest cost. This results in peace of mind for both clients and their families.
Prior to joining, SPA, Neil owned his own law practice for 42 years; 24 of which he represented Wyoming residents in SSA Disability insurance Benefit claims before the Social Security Administration. Neil’s years of dealing with the Social Security Administration gives him invaluable experience in assisting SPA’s Medicare clients .
Neil is a Licensed Resident Insurance Consultant in Wyoming (#349727). He received a B.A. from Notre Dame in 1969 and went on to complete his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1975. Additionally, he serves as a Board Member for Wyoming Dementia Care and Wyoming Outdoor Council and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Condition Association.
Neil moved to Casper in 1976. Neil is married to Linda Nix and has three adult children and two adult bonus children. In his free time, he enjoys snowshoeing, skiing, and assisting people over 55 with strength training.
